Sporty and contemporary, the Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown was co-created with Kelly Slater's clothing brand. Mounted on a NATO strap made of ECONYL thread, this Breitling watch will accompany you on all your outings at sea!

The basics

For some time now, Breitling has been partnering with Outerknow, an eco-responsible brand founded by American surfer Kelly Slater. For the record, "Outerknown" is taken from surfers' slang for "the invisible other side" of a wave.

Together, they introduced a Breitling SuperOcean Outerknown in 2019, featuring a 44mm stainless steel case and a unidirectional ratcheting bezel. This model is powered by a Breitling Caliber 17, offering a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Like all Breitling watches, this timepiece is COSC certified.

Water resistant to 1,000 meters, this reference has made the choice of a unidirectional steel diving bezel, with a green insert and dial. As for the strap, it's fitted with Superocean styling, as well as a matching khaki-colored Econyl yarn woven strap. This thread is made from lost, discarded or abandoned fishing nets to raise awareness of marine litter issues.
