The strengths of March LA.B

A Franco-Swiss automatic calibre

A French watch brand must, according to the company's philosophy, be "horlo-responsible". Until now, for industrial and economic reasons, the mechanical self-winding movements of March LA.B watches were Japanese. The calibers are well made, reliable, recognized and assembled in France, but Japanese. Then, at the end of 2021, the wind changed. In the right direction. Ideally to hoist the mainsail and set a course due east, towards Besançon. The reason? The partnership between the Swiss engine manufacturer La Joux-Perret and the family-owned company Humbert-Droz from Besançon, which now enables the assembly of a Swiss mechanical movement from A to Z in the French watchmaking capital.

The result of this partnership? The G100, a new automatic movement with three hands and date, with a beautiful 68-hour power reserve and a proven architecture.

In detail, the G100 caliber arrives in parts - all components are designed and manufactured in Switzerland - and is entirely assembled and assembled by the watchmakers of Humbert-Droz in Bisonne. This transparent and efficient system is in line with the recent recognition by UNESCO of the watchmaking know-how of the French-Swiss Jura region.

In fct, March LA.B is once again positioning itself as a pioneer of "horlo-responsibility" with this desire to bring together skills and join forces.

A "French Touch"

March LA.B watches are made in France, and the brand is proud to claim it. It uses the undeniable know-how of French watchmaking to assemble its pieces. Its exotic leather straps (Lizard, Alligator, Buffalo...) are handmade in the March LA.B workshops in Franche-Comté, in Morteau and Besançon. The after-sales service is provided in their Parisian workshop. Guaranteed for 2 years, March LA.B watches are both precise and reliable, and are inspired by vintage models to meet the expectations of the greatest number of people.

The green line

Time and the watch structure our lives, and the color green is the symbol. At March LA.B we find an omnipresent green signature on small details that make the brand strong and unique. The stitching and the return of the leather straps are green. On the automatic models, the transparent case back is green. On the date window, the number 3 is green, a nod to the month of March, the third of the year and birth month of the founder, Alain Marhic. The color green, which offers many shades, is the designer's favorite color. For the anecdote, when he was a child, Alain Marhic always dressed in green.
