Getting to know each other

The first diver from the House of Tudor dates back to 1954 with its reference 7922. Since then, the brand with the shield and the rose has never stopped improving the comfort and resistance of its watches. From these long years of study was born the Black Bay, the emblematic symbol of the Tudor brand, aesthetic, technical and functional.

Symbol

This model has everything of the brand's first divers, the "Snowflake" hands with the famous crown also called "Big Crow" because of its prominence on the case. With its 41 mm opening and domed sapphire crystal, there is no doubt about the robustness and reliability of this mythical timepiece.

What to remember

One of the major features of this Black Bay S&G model, for Steel & Gold, is undoubtedly its 41mm satin-polished steel case dressed with a yellow gold unidirectional rotating bezel with aluminium disc. In addition to this bezel, we find the yellow gold screw-down crown, the whole offering a more dressed up version of this Steel and Gold model (ref. M79733N-0007).

The movement

This Black Bay Bronze embeds the Manufacture MT5612 certified COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) calibre guaranteeing a 70-hour power reserve. This allows you, among other things, to put your watch down at the weekend and pick it up again at the beginning of the week, it is a "weekend-proof" reserve.
