Compact Solar Scuba Diver

This watch reference SNE583P1 is from the Prospex collection, a line for sports enthusiasts and adventure seekers, whether in the water, in the air or on land. Prospex simply stands for "Professional Specifications", as all Seiko dive watches comply with the ISO 6425 standard.

This Scuba Diver has a small 38.5mm diameter case with a neat finish and a brushed stainless steel bracelet with three links. Its beautiful sunray green dial is enhanced by a unidirectional bezel of the same color for more intensity, and is topped by a sapphire crystal to protect it from shocks and scratches. The indexes are very legible thanks to the use of Lumibrite, a luminescent material patented by the Japanese firm.

To ensure a water resistance of 200 meters, this SNE5893 has a screwed crown protected by the case middle.

A solar powered movement

This watch is powered by the solar-powered V147 caliber. Reliable and robust, this type of caliber is more resistant than automatic calibers. Very accurate, it displays a tolerance of + or - 15 seconds per month and has an autonomy of about 10 months at full load.
