The iconic Reverso collection is enriched with this new Tribute Duoface Calendar model featuring two faces. Powered by a hand-wound movement, this watch is undeniably reminiscent of the spirit of polo
A challenge
In 1930, a man named César de Trey was challenged to find a solution to protect the glass of watches during polo matches. He imagined a case that could be turned over and asked his friend and co-creator of the Jaeger-LeCoultre holorgère brand, Jacques-David LeCoultre, to make this model. The Reverso was born.
A symbol
Inspired by the Art Deco movement in every detail, this Reverso Tribute watch from Jaeger-Lecoultre is a symbol of traditional Swiss watchmaking. Its characteristic rectangular case is embellished with gadroons on both sides. Created in 1931, this model has never lost its elegance or its robustness.
The Reverso spirit
In addition to the concept of dual time zones, one on each side, this Reverso offers a complete calendar with a month and day window and a date counter. A Day/Night disc is inscribed on the elegant decoration. This new model is powered by the Manufacture Calibre 853 with manual winding. This watch comes with a leather strap and a bi-material strap made in the spirit of polo by the Argentinean bootmaker Casa Fagliano.
