In 1958, taking advantage of the reputation of excellence linked to its instruments for professionals, Breitling launched a new model named Transocean. In 2015, the brand wishes to pay tribute to this flagship model of its history by launching this Transocean Date, also keeping the spirit of long voyages and luxury long-haul flights.
A little history
A great classic launched in 1958, the Breitling Transocean reflects the state of mind characterizing long-distance travel. We love this piece because it has an undeniable vintage charm. The silver/cream dial of this 2016 reference features a date window at 3 o'clock. This Breitling Transocean seduces by the harmony it gives off. Indeed, its dial offers an almost perfect visual balance thanks to the arrangement of its components on the axes of a cross. We also like its meticulous finishing, such as the applied indexes. Its convex sapphire crystal is reminiscent of the old acrylic glasses used at the time. This piece with a vintage and elegant look will gladly dress the wrists of dandies with its 43mm diameter.
What you need to know
The piece we are offering today is in excellent condition. It was released in 2016 and is in near perfect condition. Its automatic runs beautifully. It is an ETA 2892, renamed Breitling B10, COSC certified. This movement has proven itself, it is extremely reliable.
