Cocktail Time Collection

The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time collection is inspired by the Japanese tradition of ending the workday with a cocktail. Traditionally, "Nomunication" time - a hybrid of nomu (drink) and communication - is after 5pm. Each watch in the collection is named after a cocktail prepared by Hisashi Kishi, head bartender at Star Bar in Tokyo's Ginza district.

For the record, Hisashi Kishi is the first bartender to receive the "Contemporary Master Craftsman" award and former winner of the International Bar Association World Championships! He is the owner of STAR BAR, one of the best bars in Tokyo, where the specificity is to create original cocktails, reminiscent of Tokyo's traditional yet lively cityscape.

The Manufacture presents for this year 2023, a series of women's watches with small dimensions and beautiful dials making the range, one of the most elegant ever made by Seiko.

Sky Diving Version

This Presage "Sky Diving" retains the original design of the Cocktail Time collection, such as the classic box-shaped glass, pointed indexes and dauphine hands, but in a case with reduced dimensions of 30 mm in diameter, ideal to accompany an elegant, dressy outfit. This gives a very "sixties" look!

This reference is inspired by the Sky Diving cocktail, whose light texture of the dial recalls the blue of the sky. The dial is thin and delicate with a neat finish. Several layers of a transparent coating are applied to the dial before being polished flat for a dazzling effect. Eight diamonds placed at the indexes add a touch of luxury and glamour to the wrist.

Even in a muted setting, the five-row mirrored metal bracelet shines on the wrist and does not go unnoticed. It features a sleek and practical clasp for comfortable wear, making the all-new Cocktail Time an easy watch to wear for everyday wear as well as special occasions.

Mechanical side

This Cocktail Time "Sky Diving" is powered by the all-new automatic caliber 2R05. It's a smaller variation of Seiko's 4R35 movement, which we already know from the Presage collection, notably on Cocktail and Presage Style 60's pieces.

All in line with the mission of the Presage line, this movement offers excellent value for money! Reliable and precise, it delivers around 40 hours of power reserve and operates with a frequency of 21,600 alternations. This technical choice saves you from a regular service interval.
