A multifunctional instrument

Born for professional and intensive use, the Chronospace seduces with its multiple functions useful to pilots - 1/100th of a second chronograph with intermediate times, alarm-clock, countdown timer, second time zone with independent alarm-clock, 24-hour military time, UTC world time, perpetual calendar -, all powered by a Breitling SuperQuartzTM movement certified chronometer, ten times more accurate than ordinary quartz. The large dial features oversized hands and large luminescent 3 and 9 numerals and indexes. To ensure optimal readability both day and night, the LCD displays feature an ultra-efficient backlighting system suitable for use with night vision binoculars.

The double-bottom housing is constructed to amplify sound signals up to 90 decibels. The rack-and-pinion mounted circular slide rule is operated with ease and precision by rotating the star bezel - an original and highly ergonomic design.

Getting to know you

This 48mm diameter watch is a limited edition of 1,000 known as the "Blacksteel". This name simply comes from the material used for this instrument: the Blacksteel! This is a DLC coating used on some limited edition models from Breitling. This extremely hard surface coating gives the watch a black, almost stealthy look!

The package

This Chronospace is in very good condition. It will be delivered to you Full Set with its case and all its documents. Sold in 2018, it has received a full maintenance service in 2023. As an Official Breitling Dealer, Lepage certifies the authenticity of this watch. As such, it benefits from the Lepage Vintage 1-year warranty.
