Citizen brings changes to its Tsuyosa collection!

Japanese Manufacture Citizen has enjoyed great success with the successful launch of its Tsuyosa collection, released in summer 2022! The brand continues to innovate, introducing new dial variations for this year 2024, and that's not all! Citizen has also listened to some watch enthusiasts who didn't appreciate the "cyclops magnifying glass" on the sapphire crystal! On these new models, the brand has simply removed it, leaving a clear space for these superb new dials.

Among these new variations, one of the most remarkable is undoubtedly the white dial version with blue tips, a combination regularly found on "traditional" timepieces...

A Tsuyosa with a white dial

The Tsuyosa collection is part of a long line of sport-chic watches with a very Seventies design, with its seductive, curvaceous lines! Its 40 mm steel case alternates polished and satin-finished surfaces, and its lugs-free design means that the president-style bracelet falls smoothly and naturally on the wrist. This bracelet also boasts a highly detailed finish, with a mix of polished and satin-finished links!

On this new reference NJ0159-86A, we find a much more classic combo than the "pops" colors usually found on other Tsuyosa dials! This white dial version is a bit like the wise child of the collection! With its plain finish, it features "blued" hour-markers and baton hands, covered in luminescent material. The whole thing is, of course, protected by a flat sapphire crystal, without any "cyclops"!

Visible through its transparent caseback, its mechanical intimacy is limitless, with a golden coating akin to the brass once used in watchmaking. On this caliber, we can note the presence of the stop seconds, perfect for precisely setting the time on your Tsuyosa!
