Cape Cod, a masculine icon

Created in 1991 by Henri d'Origny, the Cape Cod is a graphic statement: a square within a rectangle, a watch that blends classicism and boldness. This larger 41 mm x 33 mm version makes a strong statement on the wrist while retaining the collection's signature aesthetic: anchor chain-style lugs, stylized numerals, and balanced proportions.

The elegantly elongated polished steel case is topped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a transparent case back for admiring the movement.

Design: structure and classicism

The opaline silver dial is subtly decorated with a central motif that plays with the light to highlight the exclusive Hermès typography. The seconds hand completes the hour and minute display, while a date window is discreetly placed at 6 o'clock.

The watch is mounted on a long, single-wrap matte tan alligator strap. This warm, natural shade perfectly matches the steel case and gives the piece a sophisticated look, halfway between urban refinement and artisanal elegance.

Movement: H1912 caliber, mechanical character

At the heart of this Cape Cod beats the Hermès H1912 caliber, an automatic movement developed in-house with Vaucher. It offers a power reserve of 50 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It drives the hours, minutes, central seconds and a date at 6 o'clock, visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
