A brief history

Launched in 1957, the SuperOcean was initially designed to meet the needs of professional divers.

But it quickly won over sports watch enthusiasts with its understated, functional, and ultra-legible design. In 2007, Breitling revived this icon by unveiling the SuperOcean Heritage, a modern tribute to the original model's lines with a bold vintage touch. The collection has continued to expand with exclusive variations.

Among them, the SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 44 Swiss Limited Edition occupies a special place. Launched in 2015 in a limited edition of just 150 pieces, it celebrates Swiss craftsmanship with a striking design, a special engraving of the Swiss territory on the back of the case, and a monochrome aesthetic dominated by matte black. Powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 23, it perpetuates the spirit of the robust and reliable tool watches that have made the Maison's reputation. A rare piece, designed for collectors and sports-chic enthusiasts with a strong personality.

A 44 mm diameter automatic chronograph

Produced in a limited edition of only 150 pieces worldwide, this Breitling SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 44 Swiss Edition immediately stands out with its sleek, stealthy look. Housed in a stainless steel case coated with black satin DLC, it has a diameter of 44 mm (48 mm with the crown), giving it a strong presence on the wrist. Its unidirectional bezel with a bright red insert accentuates its sporty identity, while its structured black Volcano dial is subtly enlivened by three counters and a date at 6 o'clock for optimal readability in all circumstances.

This limited edition is powered by the Breitling 23 automatic caliber, certified as a chronometer by the COSC and offering a power reserve of 42 hours. The whole is protected by a sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown, guaranteeing water resistance to 200 meters. Delivered on a black rubber strap with a folding clasp, this SuperOcean Heritage embodies the very essence of the Toolwatch, with a powerful and contemporary silhouette. And to mark the exclusivity of this series, the case back is engraved with a map of Switzerland featuring the Swiss cross: a patriotic nod to a truly collector's edition.

The package

This Breitling SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 44 Swiss Edition, serial number 113/150, is in very good condition. It comes complete with its original case, manual, and warranty card dated 2018. The watch has been checked in our workshops, with a running and accuracy test on Witschi, as well as a complete water resistance test, ensuring perfect functioning. It therefore benefits from our one-year Lepage Vintage warranty.
