Since 1957, the Superocean Heritage has embodied Breitling's underwater elegance. Designed from the outset as a refined alternative to purely utilitarian diving watches, it returns in 2025 in a version that is both faithful to its DNA and enriched with a Maison movement: the caliber B31.

This two-tone version plays on contrasts: between steel and red gold, modernity and tradition, tool and jewel.

The 42 mm format remains the ideal size for this type of piece: assertive without being imposing, it lends itself equally well to city wear and more nautical use, with a balanced presence and a strong visual identity.

The model: noble contrast and perfect balance

The UB3111241B1A1 model stands out with its unidirectional bezel in 18-karat red gold, topped with a black ceramic insert. This precious finish is repeated on the crown, while the rest of the case remains in steel. The black dial, clear and uncluttered, retains the signature layout of the line: arrow-shaped hands, luminescent applied hour markers, and a date window at 6 o'clock.

The whole is mounted on a flexible, luminous, and comfortable Ocean Classic Milanese mesh bracelet. A vintage touch that perfectly complements the model's natural elegance. Water-resistant to 200 meters, equipped with a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating and a screw-in transparent case back, this model is as robust as it is sophisticated.

The B31 caliber embodies the revival of automatic movement at Breitling. This in-house movement offers a power reserve of 78 hours, bidirectional winding, and COSC chronometer certification. Its frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour ensures optimal stability, while its robust construction makes it a durable and reliable engine, perfectly suited for everyday use.
