An icon revisited against the tide
A familiar silhouette resurfaces... but this time with an unexpected twist. A free reinterpretation, where the maritime spirit meets a deliberately irreverent artistic vision. Inspired by a 1960s model that left its mark on the YEMA universe, this watch is as intriguing as it is thought-provoking.
The Yachtingraf becomes Yachtingraff
One letter changes everything: the spelling evolves, and so does the meaning. Yachtingraf – a name evocative of regattas and counter dials – slips into Yachtingraff, an ironic and deliberate contraction of “graffiti.” The simple addition of a consonant marks the beginning of a collaboration that is as atypical as it is provocative.
seconde/seconde/ comes on board
Behind this project is a name that makes fans of offbeat watches smile: seconde/seconde/. The French watch artist, known for his ironic interventions on exceptional pieces, has made his mark here. Subtle twists, hand-drawn typography, semantic nods: it's all in the details... or rather, in the “twist.”
What might have looked like a classic cruise watch becomes a playful manifesto, a graphic statement against a backdrop of watchmaking nostalgia.
