Slipped around your neck, this precious necklace will capture rays of light and enchant your everyday life with its presence. With each movement, the little pendants will reveal all the nuances that compose them, like a wonderful tangy rainbow!

Celebrating Fine Gemstones

Precious stone is a specific term that only refers to four types of gems: diamond, sapphire, emerald, and ruby. All other natural stones are called fine gemstones or ornamental stones.

Through La Féerique, we wanted to unleash a touch of whimsy expressed in a joyful and colorful way, giving life to a perfect jewel for the beautiful season! Therefore, we selected seven stones whose colors evoked warmth, the softness of summer nights, and of course, the sun...

From left to right, you will find a green tourmaline, a citrine, a tanzanite, a violet garnet, a yellow garnet, an aquamarine, and a pink tourmaline to complete this lovely garland.

Green Tourmaline and Pink Tourmaline

Existing in numerous colors, tourmaline is a highly appreciated gemstone among jewelers, belonging to the silicate family, similar to garnet and aquamarine, for example. Black, pink, blue, or even green, depending on the natural chemical elements present in its composition, tourmaline derives its name from Sinhalese (a language predominantly spoken in Sri Lanka) "turmali," which means "stone with multiple colors".

In lithotherapy*, it is attributed with powerful protective virtues, as well as the ability to repel negative waves and energies. Tourmaline is generally associated with the heart chakra, which enhances the sense of inner well-being and revitalizes the body.

Citrine

Yellow and slightly translucent, citrine gets its name from the Latin word "citrus," meaning "lemon". Its shades can vary from pale yellow to brownish orange, encompassing golden and vibrant yellow. Belonging to the quartz family, citrine emanates a solar radiance. Known since antiquity, this stone was considered a charm of good luck and used to ward off the evil eye.

In lithotherapy, citrine embodies joy and abundance, with the property of warming the body and mind. Linked to the solar plexus chakra, the seat of inner strength, citrine is said to attract wealth and abundance, provide a tonic effect, and emit a protective and benevolent energy.

Tanzanite

With its beautiful deep blue color, tanzanite is a rare gemstone belonging to the silicate family, and its only deposit is found in Tanzania. Even though it is considered a fine gemstone rather than a precious stone, it is equally rare as diamonds, sapphires, or emeralds! Depending on the angle from which it is observed, the stone can display hues of red and violet, making it highly sought after by jewelers. When combined with white or yellow gold, it gives life to exquisite and precious jewelry!

As a powerful symbol of self-fulfillment and spiritual elevation, tanzanite is associated with numerous emotional, spiritual, and physical virtues. It stimulates creativity, enhances public speaking, and has many beneficial effects on the body.

Violet Garnet and Yellow Garnet

Garnets have been known for a very long time, but their name was given to them only in 1270. Derived from the Latin word "malum granatum," meaning "seeded apple" or "pomegranate," their name was inspired by the red to brown color of most of these stones. Due to the various natural chemical elements that can be present in their composition, garnets actually come in many colors, as exemplified by La Féerique with its violet garnet and yellow garnet.

Garnets have been mentioned in several religious beliefs, such as in Viking mythology where this stone guided the dead to Valhalla (paradise), as well as in the Bible when it served as a lantern for Noah to light his way in the darkness, and even in the depiction of the fourth heaven in the Quran.

In esotericism, this gem is associated with numerous properties such as bringing joy, courage, and assurance, while helping to combat discouragement and sadness. Linked to the root chakra, garnet embodies vitality and energy, a source of dynamism and assertiveness. It is a very positive stone!

Aquamarine

At Lepage, all our aquamarines are Santa Maria, the highest quality that can be found, with a magnificent intense and translucent blue color. This name actually indicates the origin of the stones, extracted from a mine located in the bay of Santa Maria, Brazil, recognized as the deposit producing the most beautiful aquamarines on the planet.

Derived from the Latin words "aqua" and "marinus", which respectively mean "water" and "sea", it is not difficult to understand why this gem was named as such! Belonging to the beryl family, just like emeralds, it is a beautiful gemstone that brings a touch of freshness to the jewelry on which it is set.

Due to its soft color, aquamarine is said to be a soothing stone that helps maintain harmony and uniqueness. As a balancing stone, it is linked to the throat chakra, which is believed to promote communication and listening.
