The brand's iconic collection

Born in 1999, the Highlife collection has marked the history of the Geneva-based company Frederique Constant. Since its launch, it has embodied the values that have contributed to the brand's success: a faithful design inspired by fine Swiss watchmaking, a high degree of finishing and a particular care to offer the right price for affordable luxury.

A very seventies design

The Highlife COSC is part of a long line of sporty-chic watches with a very seventies design, with its seductive and curved lines! Its 39 mm steel case is a new diameter for the French market. It alternates polished and satin-finished surfaces and its design without lugs means that the strap falls smoothly and naturally on the wrist. A special feature of the Highlife collection is that it is interchangeable, and can be alternated with the second textured leather strap without the need for any tools.

The FC-303BBG3NH6B features a sublime black dial with a grainy finish. This model, reserved for the French-Benelux market, is more vintage than the rest of the collection. This is why the indexes have a cream-coloured Luminova, and why the signature of the collection, the famous "globe", is not present in the centre of the dial.

A COSC-certified calibre

This Highlife is equipped with the self-winding FC-303 calibre. Based on the Sellita SW200, it beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a comfortable power reserve of 38 hours. Most importantly, this calibre has been certified chronometer by the COS, as evidenced by the inscription "Certified Chronometer Automatic" at 6 o'clock. This watch therefore offers a super precision of -4 to +6 seconds per day.

But this calibre is not only performing. It also offers a nice finishing. Visible through its transparent caseback, the piece exposes without limit its mechanical intimacy and its finishes dear to the Geneva manufacture, such as the Côtes de Genève and the circular graining on the plate.
