Diamonds are forever, but so is gold! Once overshadowed by its red or pink variations, yellow gold is making a strong comeback. Appreciated for its authenticity, natural brilliance and purity, it is once again a timeless classic. It dresses the neck, the ear, the finger but also the wrist with warmth and brilliance.

It is by marrying these two timeless elements, yellow gold and diamonds, that Frédérique Constant has created its new Highlife Ladies Automatic. Its 34 mm case is entirely treated with a yellow gold PVD process, as are its bracelet, indexes and hands. The latter hover over eight diamond hour markers, complemented by a date window at 3 o'clock, which is also gilded around the edge.

To better highlight the rich palette of reflections offered by yellow gold, Frédérique Constant has opted for a wide range of finishes alternating between satin and polished surfaces. This is true of the bezel, which is entirely mirror polished to emphasize the harmony of its perfect circle. It is doubly echoed in the heart of the dial, with the engraved representation of the globe, the aesthetic signature of the Highlife collection, and the ring setting of each diamond, whose brilliance is reflected with infinite purity.

The delicate curved case is satin-finished to match every line of the Highlife design, right up to the edge of the case middle, where the bracelet is entirely PVD yellow gold. It alternates two satin-finished links with a polished central link, a remarkable piece of finishing that testifies to the affection of the Frédérique Constant manufacture. This very chic bracelet will have its shock counterpart, with a second bracelet (included) in white rubber and gold-plated pin buckle, allowing the piece to go from the red carpet to the urban look in the blink of an eye and without tools!

Technical side

This Highlife Ladies Automatic is equipped with the FC-303 self-winding caliber. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a comfortable 38-hour power reserve and, above all, an attractive finish. Visible through its transparent caseback, its mechanical intimacy is unrestricted, with finishes dear to the Geneva manufacture, such as the Côtes de Genève, circular graining and also colimaçonnage.
