Before Ayrton Senna, no driver had marked the world of Formula 1 with such panache. Senna is considered by his peers to be one of the greatest drivers of all time. His record is impressive: three world championship titles, 65 pole positions and no fewer than 41 Grand Prix victories! This great champion left us in 1994 and it is in his honour that TAG Heuer is offering us this special re-edition in 2022.

Sporty and stylish

This special edition comes with its famous S/EL bracelet: ultra-resistant to shocks, it has a folding clasp and an extension allowing the watch to be worn over a racing suit. It has been developed on the basis of the Formula 1 chronograph, TAG Heuer's motor racing model par excellence. The watch incorporates all the codes that have made the Ayrton Senna editions so successful, while offering a very high level of finishing. This special Formula 1 Senna edition is powered by an automatic movement, Calibre 16, with a 42-hour power reserve. Its precision and the accumulation of times up to 12 o'clock make it a tool much appreciated by motor sport enthusiasts. The chronograph minutes are shown at the top of the dial, while the seconds are shown at 9 o'clock. The famous stylised S, Senna's exclusive symbol, can also be found at 12 o'clock on the black ceramic tachometer.
