BR 03-93 collection: a unique design

The GMT function

Traditionally in watchmaking, the GMT function is developed to meet the needs and specifications of aviators, especially pilots. The acronym GMT is used to indicate a second time zone, but not necessarily that of Greenwich. This complication has since been democratized, and today is the essential tool for frequent travelers. Bell & Ross has made aviation, and more specifically aeronautical instruments, its specialty. Its designs correspond to specifications created by and for professional users.

BR 03-93 GMT Coke: A sublime red and black bezel

Bell & Ross is best known for its ingenious square pilot's watches, which feature the closest approximation to an aircraft cockpit instrument. This distinctive design was a real breakthrough for the design-focused brand.

Utilizing the brand's distinctive typography, with enlarged hour markers along the outer dial, the BR-03-93 COKE is minimalist and incredibly legible. Add to this the oversized luminescent hands, an ultra-legible red GMT hand on the matte black dial, and you have a remarkably compelling blend of elegance and utility. Add to this an intriguing three-part sandwich construction: The central case is secured by exposed screws, screwed in from above. By exposing these screws, Bell & Ross has captured the spirit of a cockpit instrument without succumbing to the superfluous. The same thing happens on the back, where four additional screws are screwed into the corners to secure the case back. The angular, articulated lugs complete this muscular look!

An automatic caliber

This watch is powered by the BR-CAL-303 caliber, built from the Swiss Sellita movement. This caliber is a genuine one, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering 40 hours of power reserve.
