Millésime Small Seconds

Building on the critical success of the first version of the Small Seconds, which won the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2023 in the “Challenge” category, Raymond Weil is adding a bold new iteration to the Millésime collection: a model featuring a deep green dial in the iconic British Racing Green hue.

Still designed as a celebration of traditional Swiss watchmaking, the Millésime collection combines vintage elegance and functional modernity in a 100% mechanical, accessible and beautifully finished watch. The sectorized aesthetic meets impeccable craftsmanship in a balanced 39.5 mm format.

Design

The sectorized green dial is the visual centerpiece of this timepiece. Surrounded by discreet hour, minute, and second markers, it reveals a subtle interplay of textures: a smooth hour track, a spiral minute track, and a finely brushed vertical center. This alternation of finishes creates a soft relief, highlighted by the light entering through the domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating.

The small seconds are located at 6 o'clock in a recessed circle, which adds depth to the composition without disrupting the harmony of the dial. This detail, inspired by vintage watches, structures the display and reinforces the model's classic roots.

The silvered dauphine hands are faceted and coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring excellent readability even in low light conditions. The vertically satin-finished bezel contrasts with the polished bevel, reinforcing the perceived quality of the stainless steel case, which is 39.5 mm in diameter and 10.25 mm thick.

The whole is supported by a flexible and comfortable five-link steel bracelet, alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces. It is secured by a folding clasp with double pushers for added security and smoothness when worn.

Movement

The watch is powered by the RW4251 caliber, based on the Sellita SW261-1, a Swiss automatic movement renowned for its reliability. It offers a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), a power reserve of 38 hours, and of course the hour, minute, and small seconds displays at 6 o'clock.

The transparent case back allows you to see the soberly decorated mechanism, with a personalized oscillating weight in the shape of a “W,” Raymond Weil's watchmaking signature. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters, ensuring carefree everyday use without compromising the watch's elegance.
