Few timepieces have been as influential and iconic as the Zenith A386. This reference, which made its debut in 1969, was one of the very first steel models to be equipped with the legendary El Primero calibre, the world's first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement (36,000 vibrations). More than 50 years later, the El Primero remains the benchmark for precision among automatic chronograph movements, but it is now being replaced by a new version. This new Chronomaster line is more than a remake of the A386. It combines the singular and timeless aesthetics of its predecessor with the modern performance of the new El Primero calibre and its 1/10th of a second precision display. The result? A retro look combined with 21st century performance.
