TAG Heuer unveils a new special limited edition for the Monaco Grand Prix! Back to basics for this model with a bold touch of modernity : Titanium
The brief history
It was in 1969 that TAG Heuer launched the Monaco. From then on, an icon was born and has never left the Formula 1 Grand Prix tracks. In fact, it bears its name, Monaco, and has marked its era and even continues to surprise us.
The case
TAG Heuer is celebrating the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix and letting us know with this model. On this occasion, the watchmaking house is unveiling a re-edition of its iconic Monaco model by injecting it with a bold modernity: titanium. Appreciated by enthusiasts, Grade 2 Titanium is renowned for its lightness and robustness. In addition to the practicality, the case is sublimated by a sandblasted treatment that gives it a matte aesthetic that gives this Monaco a raw charm.
The movement
This CAW218B.FC6496 model is equipped with an updated version of the famous calibre 11 automatic chronograph movement. This one having made its debut in 1969 in the original Monaco. You will find through this watch all the technology and watchmaking know-how of TAG Heuer.
