For the record...
Created in 2000 by Jacques Helleu, then artistic director of the House of Chanel, the J12 quickly became an emblem of elegance and modernity. The first watch in history to be made entirely of black ceramic, its design is inspired by America's Cup sailing ships.
Why we love it
Both mysterious and androgynous, it dresses both female and male wrists. Sometimes sporty, very often elegant and sometimes minimalist, it has evolved over time. The new J12 EDITION 1 is equipped with the calibre 12.2 Manufacture entirely developed for Chanel and is available in white.
The new J12
On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of its creation, the J12 gets a gentle transformation. Its bezel and crown are slimmed down, its Arabic numeral markers are revisited and adorned with ceramic, while the Swiss Made mention makes its appearance at 6 o'clock. Metamorphosed while retaining its original DNA, it will make the hearts of many lovers of luxury timepieces beat faster.
