Grand Seiko unveils a watch steeped in history. The shape of the dial is similar to the frozen water of Lake Sus, the "Omiwatari" or the place where the gods walk on the ice
The story
Every winter, Lake Suwa, Nagano's largest lake, is completely frozen. In some years, a ridge forms on it that is tens of centimetres high. This rare natural phenomenon that can be observed for hundreds of metres is called Omiwataru or "God's Crossing."
