Meeting

In 2005, OMEGA launched its Planet Ocean line with its maritime heritage in mind. Now, the elegant OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer GMT pays tribute to OMEGA's diving watch heritage.

This model features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o'clock and a GMT hand in the center. The bezel, which combines black and white polished ceramic for the first time, is mounted on a 43.5mm stainless steel case and features a dive scale with contrasting colored numerals and graduations to differentiate between day and night.

The watch also features a screw-in caseback with a honeycomb design and a stainless steel bracelet closed with a patented extendable folding clasp.

The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer GMT is water resistant to 600 meters (60 bar / 2,000 feet) and equipped with a helium valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer 8906 calibre at the heart of the watch is visible through the transparent case back. To earn Master Chronometer certification, it had to pass eight rigorous tests set by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology.
