The little story

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M needs no introduction. It has been a legend since its launch in 1993 and has developed a significant fan base in just over 25 years. It is truly one of the most famous watches in the world, and we would be remiss if we did not mention that it has been James Bond's favorite watch since 1995.

The Seamaster name has a long and proud lineage within the Manufacture in Biel, but the Diver 300M series is indeed the most important watch in the collection. This is evidenced by its many updates, the latest of which introduced Master Chronometer-certified Manufacture calibers.

But the Seamaster Diver 300M series also includes a flagship line of diving chronographs! Launched in the 1990s, the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph was one of the very first diving chronographs available on the market, whose pushers could be operated safely underwater, which remains a relatively rare feat in today's watch market.

What you need to know

This Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is distinguished by its black lacquered dial with slight red accents. It features a simple and straightforward 3-6-9 chronograph layout: a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock and a small seconds at 9 o'clock.

Its unidirectional rotating bezel is made of polished black ceramic, allowing it to remain scratch-free. All of this is mounted on its stainless steel case, which is equipped with a helium valve and an integrated date corrector at 10 o'clock. This Diver 300M Chronograph measures only 44 mm in diameter.

To power this watch, Omega uses the 3330 caliber. This excellent self-winding caliber is equipped with a column wheel and a co-axial escapement. It offers a power reserve of up to 55 hours.
