The Millésime collection, a return to watchmaking fundamentals

Raymond Weil designed the Millésime collection as a tribute to the history of Swiss watchmaking. The design of the watches draws on the heritage of sectored dials from the early 20th century. Their rigorous geometric construction, combined with perfectly balanced proportions, gives rise to legible, understated, mechanical and expressive pieces. This model with a central seconds hand echoes this architecture in a 39.5 mm diameter case, here paired with a blue leather strap that enhances its dressy character and comfort on the wrist.

A blue dial with a graphic design

Set beneath a domed sapphire crystal with a decidedly vintage style, the blue dial reveals all its richness in the structure of its finishes. The completely smooth hour track features precisely printed white hour markers with no superfluous relief. The outer minute track, decorated with a snail-shaped guilloché pattern, creates a discreet and refined play of textures. The central area, with its vertical satin finish, adds substance and emphasizes the dial's understated elegance. The whole is divided by a printed central cross, recalling the codes of 1930s observation and desk watches.

The silver-plated, faceted Dauphine hands coated with Super-LumiNova® ensure immediate readability, even in low light. The slender central seconds hand gently animates the surface of the dial without disturbing the overall balance.

A steel case with a consistent design

The 39.5 mm stainless steel case features a vertically satin-finished bezel contrasting with a delicately polished bevel. The lugs, brushed on the sides and polished on top, blend naturally into the case, creating a fluid and harmonious silhouette. The smooth, supple blue calfskin strap fits snugly around the wrist. It is embellished with W-shaped stitching at the lugs, a discreet nod to the Maison Raymond Weil, and fastens with a polished steel ardillon buckle.

A reliable and functional Swiss movement

The watch is powered by the RW4200 caliber, developed on the basis of the Sellita SW200-1. This automatic mechanical movement is a standard of reliability in contemporary watchmaking. It offers a smooth display of the hours, minutes, and seconds, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a power reserve of 41 hours. The transparent case back reveals the internal components and the oscillating weight engraved with the W monogram, a discreet but distinctive signature of the Maison.
