The navette cut also called marquise cut in reference to the marquise of Pompadour is one of the most difficult and delicate cuts to make. It requires experienced lapidaries and great expertise. Like all fancy cuts, the marquise cut does not tolerate mediocrity, it will be chosen in high quality rough.

Jeweller's word

The Suzanne collection is intended to highlight shaped stones, here the marquise cut is beautifully brought up to date. We had two constraints: on the one hand, to preserve the lightness and elegance of the navette cut and, on the other hand, to protect its ends. We therefore placed each stone at an angle, side by side for finesse and softness, and set them by folding the V-shaped claws over each of the points to ensure their safety. This alliance is of great beauty, with their 55 facets the marquises radiate light, Suzanne does not pass unnoticed!
