Sapphire, a highly sought-after gemstone, is appreciated for its soothing virtues and its blue color that symbolizes calm, peace, and meditation. As a member of the corundum family, along with ruby, sapphire offers a variety of hues such as blue, green, pink, orange, and even yellow. Among the rarest colors of sapphire, there is a unique pink-orange hue, giving rise to the Padparadscha sapphire, named after the pink-orange lotus flower called "padparadscha" in Sinhalese, the official language of Sri Lanka.

Lepage creations are crafted in our workshops with mostly recycled 18k gold, allowing the jewel to endure the ages without ever losing its luster (although it must be properly and regularly maintained to preserve its original beauty). In envisioning the Eléanor earrings, we aimed to offer women a jewel that shines with the delicacy of its details and the beauty of the gemstones that adorn it.
