In just a few months, the Millésime collection has established itself as one of the pillars of Raymond Weil's stylistic revival. Designed as a modern tribute to the watchmaking standards of the 1940s to 1960s, it combines a segmented design, optimized readability, and masterful proportions. This Tri-Compax chronograph embodies this philosophy in a precious version, combining a rose gold PVD case with an intense black dial for a sophisticated and elegant look.

The model

The black dial reveals an elegant and contrasting composition. Crafted according to the collection's iconic sector structure, it features a smooth hour track, a spiral minute track, and a vertically brushed central zone. Three recessed silver counters (small seconds at 9 o'clock, 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock, 12 hours at 6 o'clock) structure the display in a perfectly legible Tri-Compax arrangement. The red numerals in the subdials add a technical touch, in the tradition of vintage racing chronographs.

The dauphine hands, hour markers and chronograph seconds hand are finished in rose gold, lending chromatic consistency and discreet warmth to the ensemble. All the main hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring perfect legibility in all circumstances. A white tachymeter scale borders the dial, reinforcing its functional dimension without compromising its elegance.

The 39 mm stainless steel case is entirely covered with a satin-finished rose gold PVD coating, with polished lugs on the top and satin-finished on the sides. It is topped with a domed sapphire crystal with a double anti-reflective coating. This interplay of materials and volumes gives the watch a vintage yet contemporary look and a great visual finesse.

This version is mounted on a supple black calfskin strap, fastened with a pin buckle also treated with rose gold PVD. Grey stitching discreetly echoes the “W” signature so dear to the Maison. This choice of strap accentuates the dressy character of the watch, while remaining very comfortable on the wrist.

Mechanical

The watch is powered by the RW5030 caliber, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement based on the Sellita SW510 platform. It oscillates at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offers a power reserve of 62 hours. Robust, reliable, and well-proven, it guarantees smooth and accurate reading of the hours, minutes, and chronograph functions.

The transparent case back allows the movement to be admired in action. The slim case thickness of 12.9 mm, rare for an automatic chronograph, makes the watch comfortable to wear every day. Water-resistant to 50 meters, it combines aesthetics and practicality.
