Following in the footsteps of the Small Seconds model, which won an award at the GPHG 2023, the Millésime Chronographe Tri-Compax embodies the sportiest and most technical facet of the collection. RAYMOND WEIL expresses all its expertise in this model, offering a complication appreciated by enthusiasts in a compact, sleek and balanced format.

The model

The watch comes in a finely crafted 39.5 mm stainless steel case. The delicately satin-finished bezel creates a subtle contrast with the polished lugs and piston-style pushers. The domed sapphire crystal glassbox crowns the ensemble, adding a touch of retro style and ensuring excellent readability.

On closer inspection, the black dial reveals a wealth of textures that punctuate the time display. The smooth, precise hour track surrounds an intricately crafted minute track. In the center, delicate vertical brushing adds depth and refinement to the overall design. Three recessed counters structure the watch in a Tri-Compax configuration: the small seconds at 9 o'clock, the 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock and the 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock. The visual balance is remarkable, reinforced by a peripheral tachymeter scale subtly highlighted in white, evoking the world of competition. The Arabic numerals within the counters reinforce this aesthetic connection.

The dauphine-shaped hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring optimal readability in the dark. The whole is set on a supple, perfectly integrated five-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and double push-piece safety system. The overall effect is both sleek and distinguished.

Inside

This timepiece is powered by the RW5030 caliber, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement based on the proven Sellita SW510 architecture. With a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, this caliber offers a comfortable power reserve of up to 62 hours. It ensures smooth, accurate and reliable display of both the time and the chronograph functions.

The clipped but transparent case back allows the movement to be observed in action. The whole piece is only 12.9 mm thick, a feat for an automatic chronograph, ensuring excellent comfort on the wrist. Water-resistant to 50 meters, this model is perfect for everyday wear, whether elegant or more casual.
