A short history

A mainstay of the Omega brand since its first appearance in 1948, the Seamaster line has taken many forms, from a versatile timepiece for everyday wear to a rugged diving tool. Here, we present a beautiful 1969 model that perfectly illustrates the collection's roots. A Seamaster Automatic Day-Date in a sporty steel case. Omega Seamasters from the 1950s and 1960s are among the best entry-level vintage watches, and this example proves it once again. It is easy to wear and the finish and details are impressive. The case is a bit more dynamic than most vintage Seamasters, and it has a very interesting speckled silver dial.

This watch is a rare and collector piece. Still in its "juice", it remains authentic and beautifully patinated, we just had to modify its strap. Its automatic movement Omega Calibre 752 is a reliable and robust engine which also explains its popularity with collectors and amateurs.
Almost similar to the reference 166.023, this reference 166.032 differs by its chronometer certification, making its production limited. This calibre has notably demonstrated its ability to pass chronometry tests by being fitted into the constellation range.
