In 2024, Raymond Weil continues to expand its Millésime collection with a 35 mm version of its famous Phase de Lune, designed for customers looking for a refined and comfortable mechanical watch for women. With this version featuring laboratory-grown diamond-set lugs, the Geneva-based Maison offers a piece that straddles genres: a watch by nature and a piece of jewelry by design.

This watch brilliantly combines the aesthetic DNA of the collection—a sectorized dial, balanced proportions, and a poetic complication—with the contemporary world of jewelry, for a silhouette that is luminous, modern, and emotional.

Design

The denim blue dial features a perfectly legible sectorized architecture with three distinct zones: an outer track for the seconds, a spiral-engraved minute track, and a vertically satin-finished central zone. This succession of textures enriches the readability while enhancing the depth of the dial. The subtly integrated central cross structures the whole.

The moon phase at 6 o'clock takes the form of a circular opening revealing a stylized moon with a graphic face, surrounded by stars. The display is balanced, precise and particularly intuitive. The silver-toned dauphine hands are faceted and coated with Super-LumiNova® to ensure optimal readability even in low light.

The stainless steel case features alternating vertical satin finishes (bezel) and polished finishes (bevel, crown, lugs). But it is the lugs, set with 16 lab-grown diamonds (0.26 ct), that really make the difference, transforming this watch into a true piece of jewelry with unapologetic femininity.

The domed sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, gives the watch a visual depth that enhances the relief of the dial. The whole is supported by a five-link steel bracelet with polished and satin finishes and a double-push-piece folding clasp for optimal security.

The movement

This model is powered by the automatic caliber RW4280, based on the Sellita SW280-1. This reliable and proven Swiss movement offers hours, minutes, central seconds, and moon phase at 6 o'clock, with a power reserve of 41 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The movement is visible through a transparent case back, which reveals the customized “W”-shaped oscillating weight. The watch remains slim and balanced, perfectly suited to the most delicate wrists, while offering water resistance to 50 meters for everyday use.
